The second Sunday in May is the modern Mother's day holiday, which was created by Anna Jarvis in the United States nearly 150 years ago, as a day to honor mothers and motherhood.
In China, Mother's day is becoming more and more popular, too. Sons and daughers gives cards, chocolates or flowers, or say "Happy Mother's day " to their mother. I think the day is the best time to thank mother for everything she has done for us.
